In Kind Donations
In-kind donations, such as linens, unopened pet food, and gently used pet items, can significantly impact our shelter. Donations can be dropped off at our main shelter, and wish lists are available on Chewy and Amazon.
Make a Difference with In Kind Donations
In-kind donations can make as much of an impact as monetary contributions. Donating extra items for our animals is a fantastic way to help while also keeping items out of the landfill!
Items we accept!
- Linens: Blankets, towels, sheets, pillowcases, washcloths
- Food: Unopened and not expired, for cats and dogs
- Gently Used Pet Items: Leashes, collars, harnesses, toys, brushes, crates, gates, clean litter boxes, bowls
- Cat Litter: clumping or non-clumping
- Toys: balls, lick mats, scratch pads, interactive toys, cat nip toys, feather wands
Items we cannot accept!
- Bedding items with filling; like cushions, pillows, thick comforters
- Food items that are previously opened or expired
- Used pet items in poor condition, such as worn cat scratchers, damaged crates, toys with holes/rips, items too hairy to clean, or anything with fecal stains
How to Donate!
All donations can be dropped off at our main shelter (1242 Lombard St) any day of the week. There is a blue bin available for drop-offs whenever our main gate is open. We usually accept donations between 12-5 PM (until 7 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays). If you would like a donation receipt, please stop by the front desk.
Note: We do not pick up donations.
