Get Involved
Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the Morris Animal Refuge team and helping save the lives of Philadelphia’s homeless animals! Whatever your skill set is, we hope to find a difference-making place for you in our community.
Adopt!
The number one way you can support is by welcoming a new furry member into your forever family! From playful cats to laid-back dogs, we are sure you’ll find you the purrfect pet for your family. Visit the link below to see who is currently adoptable at morris!
Donate
Making a donation is the fastest and easiest way to make a huge impact on our lifesaving mission! Each and every donation makes it possible to provide the best possible care to the animals currently in the shelter and those that will need our help in the future.
Foster
Foster families allow our small animal shelter to expand by leaps and bounds. When you foster, you are at the forefront of saving lives by providing temporary care to an animal that can’t thrive in the shelter but will eventually find their permanent loving home!
Volunteer
Volunteering allows you to help out Morris Animal Refuge animals directly, and gives our pets extra love, care, and support to help them thrive. Whether you’re socializing cats, walking dogs, helping at an event, or cleaning cages, we couldn’t save lives without you!
1874 Society
The 1874 Society is Morris Animal Refuge’s Advisory and Resource Board. Through fundraising and the expertise and skills of its members, the 1874 Society helps the shelter acquire the necessary resources to care for our homeless animals and expand our capacity of care.
The Lifesaver Club
The Lifesaver Club is a group of generous animal lovers who support Morris Animal Refuge through sustained, regular giving. Members enjoy all kinds of fun perks like event and adoption discounts, exclusive Lifesaver Club merchandise, and more!
