Soup arrived at Morris as a young momma with her three kittens named Minestrone, Chowder, and Stew. She took great care of them, but always loved to be the center of attention, and would happily steal pets away from them. If you weren’t giving her enough attention, she would quickly fix that with her big voice! Once her babies were big enough to be on their own, Soup went into foster care with a staff member, and let us know she was packed with personality! She found her perfect forever home when interested adopters reached out saying they were planning to name whichever cat they adopted Soup, and by fate, stumbled upon her on PetFinder. They instantly fell in love when they met her, and knew they had to make her a part of the family.  

This week we received an update on Soup as it was her 1 year gotchya day celebration: “Soup loves being the center of attention! She is such a ham (in behavior and, uh, size – we can’t believe how much she’s grown!). She makes us laugh every day with her antics and goofy facial expressions, but is also the cuddliest little noodle when she is sleepy. Soup loves: food, her warming pad, being tucked into bed, food, yelling at birds, chasing her bell ball, food, and laying in whatever window is getting the most sun. Soup dislikes: rules (typical teenager!)”
