Meet Spike, formerly known as Offset! This bubbly pocket pittie with the shiny black coat and baby hippo ears is living his best life with his new family, who decided the name Offset just had to go. Spike was adopted from Morris about a month and a half ago, and his family recently sent us an update that truly warmed out hearts!

Spike’s family thought the name suited him because of his clipped ears, and it didn’t take him long to catch on to it. He knows his name now, and he answers to it with plenty of enthusiasm.

He has also found his best friend in his new brother, Cannoli. The two are inseparable. Spike was a little wild when he first came home, but his family says he’s calming down more every day.

Like any good pittie, Spike has his quirks. He’s obsessed with taking things around the house and running off with them until someone takes them back, and his favorite targets are his family’s dish towels. It’s a small (and adorable) price to pay for a dog this loving.

In his family’s words, Spike is “the most sweetest loving ball of energy.” We couldn’t agree more. When he was with us, he was playful, outgoing, and sweet, and he loved every person he met, including children. It makes us so happy to see him thriving in a home with a brother to play with, plenty of love, and a whole lot of towels.

Thank you to Spike’s family for giving him the home he deserved, and for taking the time to share his story with us!
