A delightful three month update on our boy Mufasa!

“I hope you are all doing well! I am writing to give you a post-adoption update on Alfie (who was called Mufasa while at Morris) since we are coming up on three months since my wife and I adopted him!

My wife and I met Alfie a few months ago, and it was a ‘tail’ as old as time. We were “just planning to look” that day, but as soon he crawled into my lap I knew he was coming home with us. We have patiently waited a few months for his trust and personality to develop, and have been rewarded with a sweet, social, curious and incredibly smart boy (he knows “sit” and we’re working on “spin”!). He is patient with us when we brush his teeth or clean his ears, and loves to play with his mouse toys and watch the birds and squirrels in our yard from his perch on the backdoor. We would not have said anything was missing from our lives before taking him home, but rescuing Alfie has irrevocably changed our world. We are 100 times more patient, and laugh 100 times more often. In a world with Alfie, we’re finding new ways to grow and love. Thank you for all you do & for providing opportunities for cats like Alfie, who is already spoiled rotten.
