Due to Hurricane Harvey and the resulting flooding in Houston, pets and animal shelters across the region need your help! Here's a partial list of organizations dealing with the disaster. Some are hard-hit themselves, while others are pitching in.

How to help?

1) Donate! Monetary donations are best, so they can use it where the need is greatest. You can also check the group's website, wishlist, or social media to see if there are specific supplies they need.

2) Adopt or foster! Shelters across the country have been taking in pets rescued from Harvey. Adopting or fostering gives these pets a home, and opens up space for more pets. If you live nearby, check the groups below or contact your local shelter.
